Dobbins Elementary students learned about sharing and service this holiday season.
As a service project, the Dobbins PTO community service committee has organized a collection of needed items to be donated to children’s services. Students have been bringing in socks, mittens, gloves and winter apparel for the giving tree.
The PTO has also set up a holiday shop at the school. The shop was organized in the spirit of giving. All $1 items were sold with no profit strictly for the experience of teaching the students the value of money, budgeting and comparative shopping in a safe, non-commercial environment.
