2,036 lose benefits
An estimated 42,000 Ohioans lost extended unemployment benefits when the special program ended last week. These county-by-county numbers of people who lost benefits reflect a 20-percent reduction of the actual number. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services estimates that 20 percent lost benefits for reasons other than termination of the federal program.
