Firefighter charged
liberty
A Liberty Township firefighter is on paid administrative leave after he was arrested by North Jackson police for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, according to The Vindicator’s broadcast partner 21 WFMJ.
Jesse Culbertson, 30, of Arbor Circle in Youngstown is in the Mahoning County jail on a $100,000 bond from an October incident, according to court records.
Culbertson was arraigned Wednesday in Mahoning County Area Court in Austintown. He will have a preliminary hearing there at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

Parking ban

In anticipation of the snowstorm, a parking ban will take effect at midnight Saturday until further notice. Vehicles are to be removed from city streets to allow workers clear paths to plow snow.

ELLWOOD CITY
Fire crews worked on a structure fire Thursday night on an occupied home at 115 Martin Avenue. The home was occupied, but no injuries were reported.
