UPDATE | I-80 westbound lanes in Mercer County open, 1 eastbound lane remains closed

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation officials report that all lanes of Interstate 80 westbound in Mercer County are open.

There had been a lane restriction for two miles near Exit 15 due to an accident in the eastbound lanes.

One eastbound lane of I-80 from Exit 4A (Sharon) to Exit 15 (Route 19, Mercer) is open. The other lane remains closed due to the multivehicle accidents but is expected to reopen between 3;30 and 4 p.m.
