Opera singers at luncheon event

Stambaugh Auditorium will host another Sundays at Stambaugh event at 12:30 p.m. March 9, featuring the Opera Western Reserve Young Artists, who will present Mozart’s “The Impresario.” A catered lunch will precede the performance.

“The Impresario” is directed and adapted by Robert Pierce with musical direction by Jan Crews. The cast includes Emily Alcorn, Lauren Corcoran and Robert Pierce.

The one-act opera, written in 1786, is a window into the world of theater, which includes the outlandish characters’ auditions for a play within the opera. For reservations, go to stambaughauditorium.com or call 330-259-0555.
