Smart Choice food orders begin Saturday

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice Food at the church with cash, check or money order from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday and cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Card accepted from 11 a.m. to noon March 17.

Orders also will be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. March 17.

Box choices range in price from $17 to $39 and include meat, vegetables, convenience meals, Easter dinner box with ham and turkey, frozen fruit box, chicken-hunk box and a pork-chop box.

There is a special Jimmy Dean 9-pound pancake sausage sticks box available for $14 with the purchase of any other box.

Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church. Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment of postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by March 14. Online ordering will close at midnight March 19. A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is from 9 to 10 a.m. March 29. A community breakfast will be served the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
