WARREN

An 18-year-old Parkman Road Southwest man is charged with raping a 10-year-old Newton Falls boy.

Tyler Aikins was arrested Friday and was arraigned Monday in Warren Municipal Court on one count of rape. Judge Thomas Gysegem ordered him held on $250,000 bond. If convicted, he could get 11 years in prison.

A complaint was lodged with Warren police Dec. 28, 2013, regarding the incident, which purportedly occurred at the Parkman Road residence.

Meanwhile, Warren police investigated two other rape allegations over the weekend.

A 67-year-old woman reported being raped by a known male in her apartment on Buckeye Street Northwest on Saturday night.

And a resident in the 100 block of Elm Road Northeast reported that his 4-year-old son told him two people sexually assaulted him repeatedly over the past 18 months.

The man said his son told a teacher about the assaults, and the teacher contacted Trumbull County Children Services, which advised him to file a police report, he said.
