Lenten fish dinners will begin

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will begin serving its annual fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. every Friday except Good Friday, beginning March 7. Takeouts will be available starting at 3 p.m. The meals consist of baked or fried fish, parsley potatoes, pirogi, coleslaw, applesauce, homemade desserts, and beverages. Prices are $9 for adults, $4.50 for children 5 to 12 and free for children under 4. Volunteers who host the dinners are, from left, Virginia Crumb; Bob Rose, co-chairman of the event; Linda Rose; Joe Hayes; and Vicki Graora, supervisor of the takeout room. Other volunteers are Dave Hanton, co-chairman; Jim Davies, committee member; and Jack Thompson, committee member.
