New Life Lutheran Church was the setting for the Oct. 11, 2013, afternoon wedding of Steffijo Anderson and MA1 Kenneth Dutton Jr., USN. The Rev. Bill Wessner officiated.

An evening reception took place at the Georgetown in Boardman.

The couple’s wedding trip took them to Lexington, Ky., where the bride’s parents hosted a reception.

Her parents are Tim and Sandy Anderson of Georgetown, Ky., and his parents are Eleanor A. Dutton of Poland and the late Kenneth Dutton Sr.

The bride wore a strapless cream-colored satin gown with a lace bodice and cocoa sash at the waist. Her floor-length lace veil was handmade by her maternal grandmother.

Wearing maple-colored gowns were the sisters of the bride, Steelyjo and Staccijo Anderson, who were her honor attendants.

Alayna and Gianna Dutton, the groom’s nieces, were the flower girls.

The groom’s brother, Jeff Dutton, was best man, and the groomsman was his cousin, Joe Tuchek.

Ushers were T.J. Anderson, the bride’s brother, and Brody Siler. Ty Engstrom, the groom’s cousin, was ring bearer.

The bride served four years in the Navy, and the groom is making the Navy a career.

The couple reside in Brawley, Calif.
