NILES

Dalton Moore scored 20 points, Ray’Quan Phifer had 15 and Struthers outscored Niles 6-5 in overtime to win. Marcus Hill scored 20 for Niles and Cameron Kane had 13.

Warren JFK 67, Howland 58

HOWLAND

Isaac Carrino led four Warren JFK players in double figures with 15 points and the Eagles took control with a 22-7 second-quarter run in a road victory. Zachary Usher added 13 points, Luke Keck scored seven of his 12 in that second quarter and James Burney scored 10 for Warren JFK (8-13). Carrino made three of the Eagles’ eight 3-pointers. Julian Lanier made six of the Tigers’ eight 3-pointers and finished with 19 points. Reece Bogan added 15 for Howland (6-16).

Divison III

Brookfield 56, Liberty 37

BROOKFIELD

The Warriors raced out to a 15-8 first quarter lead, led by 10 at the half and closed out their sectional final win over the Leopards (12-10) in decisive fashion. Danielle DiCristofaro led the charge with 17 points and Ashley Kirila scored 13 points. Delany Saxton scored 9 points and pulled down 5 rebounds for Brookfield (16-7). For Liberty, Leah Leshnack scored 15 points.

Rootstown 53, Newton Falls 52

NEWTON FALLS

Rootstown inbounded the ball along the sideline with 0.5 seconds left, trailing Newton Falls 52-50. Monique Jackson caught the ball above the 3-point line, took one drible and turned and shot as time expired. Her shot went in to give Rootstown a thrilling 53-52 sectional final victory. It was her only 3-pointer of the game, as Jackson finished with seven points. Gabby Kline had a game high 21 points for Newton Falls in the heartbreaking loss.

Hawken 64, LaBrae 49

LEAVITTSBURG

Somer McCoy scored 17 points for the Vikings and Lauren Rutherford made nine of her team’s 29 rebounds.

Division IV

Columbiana 62, Youngstown Christian 39

COLUMBIANA

The Clippers (22-2) opened a 37-16 halftime advantage in the sectional final victory. Baylie Mook scored 18 points and added six assists and six steals. Emily Witmer had 13 points and Aleah Whitacre added 11 points and seven rebounds. Kayla Rios led YCS with 16 points. Columbiana now faces Lisbon Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Mineral Ridge High in a district semifinal.

Lisbon 38, Crestview 36

NEW WATERFORD

Alli Davis scored 10 points and made four steals to lead the Blue Devils (8-15). Mackenzie Mason contributed 11 rebounds, two blocked shots and seven points. Taylor Siefke made seven rebounds. For the Rebels, Alexis Gates made 13 points and five steals while Anna Hardenbrook scored 12 points.

Lordstown 59, Sebring 41

LORDSTOWN

Sarah Cash scored 25 points with 12 rebounds and Lordstown jumped out to a 16-8 first quarter lead. Talia Tobin added 12 points for the Red Devils, who will meet Western Reserve in Thursday’s district semifinal at Mineral Ridge High. Murphy Flower scored 14 points and Kelsi Settle had 12 for the Trojans.

Windham 65, Badger 49

WINDHAM

Jessica Isler scored 31 points and made five rebounds and six steals for the Bombers. Brittany Knight contributed 11 points and 10 rebounds while Samantha Dean scored 12 points. For the Braves, Taylor Kramar scored 19 points and Taylor Logan made 16 points and 11 rebounds.
