Polish doughnuts can be ordered

Orders are being taken through Tuesday for the traditional Polish Carnival treat paczki, also known as Polish doughnuts, and will be ready for pickup at 7:30 a.m. March 4 at Kravitz Delicatessen, 3135 Belmont Ave., Liberty, or Kravitz at Poland Library, 311 S. Main St., Poland.

The cost is $1.50 each or $15 for one dozen. The choices are apricot, custard, lekvar (plum), poppyseed, rosehip and plain sugared.All proceeds will benefit Polish children’s programming and scholarship fund.
