Manager punched at Dollar General

YOUNGSTOWN

A police report says a man punched a female store manager in the face at Family Dollar store, 667 Gypsy Lane, at about 11:20 a.m. Friday after she confronted him about a compact disc she saw him put in his pocket.

The man said he did not take anything and when the manager told a cashier to call the police, the man hit her. Two people tried to restrain the man but he broke away and ran out of the store. Police searched for him with help from Liberty police but could not find him.
