Man arrested after entering home

Boardman police arrested a 55-year-old Youngstown man on multiple charges including burglary on Monday.

Gregory Naypaver of Doncaster Drive is charged with obstructing official business, violating a protection order and burglary.

Just after 5 p.m. Monday, police were called to his residence on Doncaster Drive.

They were told Naypaver was in a residence he did not have permission to be in.

Naypaver’s mother has had a protection order against her son since Feb. 7.

Police found Naypaver in the attic of the residence.

Naypaver broke into the house through a broken basement window, according to police.

He is in Mahoning County jail and was arraigned Tuesday morning on two felony offenses, burglary and violation of a protection order, and one misdemeanor of obstructing official business.

His next court date is at 4 p.m. March 27.
