Poll: Kasich maintains lead over main challenger

Republican Gov. John Kasich is maintaining a slim lead over Democratic challenger Ed FitzGerald among Ohio voters surveyed by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute.

Among 1,370 registered voters questioned over the past week, 43 percent sided with Kasich, while 38 percent picked FitzGerald.
