Youngstown declares snow emergency

YOUNGSTOWN

Charles T. Shasho, deputy director of public works, has declared a snow emergency effective immediately until further notice.

During a snow emergency, parking is prohibited on all streets except those streets or alleys that have a width of 25 feet or less, providing no driveway facilities. Any vehicle parked in violation of this ordinance will be subject to removal by towing at the owner’s expense. A snow emergency occurs when there is snow accumulation of four inches or more.
