Speaker will talk about local foods

Lee Lichtenwalner will speak from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 3 at the Salem Public Library, 821 E. State St., about community-supported agriculture and the health benefits of eating locally grown foods.

The program will take place in the Quaker Room. Register online through the library’s website at www.salem.lib.oh.us. There is no cost to attend.

Community-supported agriculture (CSA) is a way for individuals and families to buy locally grown seasonal food directly from farmers.
