Bordman cops arrest Youngstown man for burglary

Boardman police Monday arrested a Youngstown man on multiple charges including burglary.

Gregory Naypaver, 55, of Doncaster Drive is charged with obstructing official business, violating a protection order and burglary.

Just after 5 p.m. police were called to residence on Doncaster Drive. They were told Naypaver was in a residence he did not have permission to be in. Naypaver’s mother has had a protection order against her son since Feb. 7.

Police found Naypaver in the attic of the residence. He broke into the house through a broken basement window, according to police.

He is Mahoning County jail and was arraigned Tuesday morning for two felony offenses, burglary and violation of a protection order, and one misdemeanor of obstructing official business. His next court date is at 4 p.m. March 27.
