Mancini will be special guest at dinner event

Former boxing champion and Youngstown native Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini will be the special guest at a dinner and wine-tasting event March 8 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center, 7440 South Ave.

Tickets are $50 per person for this fundraiser, which will benefit Hope House Visitation Center.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and will include an interview with Mancini, conducted by Bob Hannon.

Another event involving Mancini and Hannon scheduled for March 6 at DeYor Centre has been canceled.

In addition to dinner, guests will be able to sample Mancini’s own South Paw wines.
