Applications for leadership program

YOUNGSTOWN

Applications are available for Leadership Mahoning Valley, a nine-month program that gives participants the opportunity to identify community issues and network with civic leaders.

The program consists of monthly daylong sessions focused on education, health, human services, heritage, government, justice, labor, business, poverty and diversity.

Applicants may request an application directly or be nominated to apply by an employer or program graduate. Applications will be accepted through May 1. There is a $2,000 fee that covers all program costs.

Postal Service seeks applicants

YOUNGSTOWN

The U.S. Postal Service is accepting applications for positions throughout Ohio.

The positions include city carrier assistant, rural carrier assistant and postmaster relief. USPS also is looking for a sales, services and distribution employee and an automotive technician.

Applicants must create an external profile at www.usps.com/careers and fill out the online application.

Talmer stock rises

TROY, MICH.

Shares of Talmer Bancorp’s stock rose 7 percent when it hit the market for the first time this week, valuing the company at $971 million.

Talmer, which recently absorbed a number of banks, including First Place Bank, raised about $202.8 million on an initial public offering of almost 15.6 million shares.

Airline adds nonstop service

Cleveland

Frontier Airlines announced Thursday it will provide nonstop service from Cleveland to Trenton, N.J., and year-round service from Cleveland Hopkins International Airport to Orlando, Fla.

The airline also will add seasonal nonstop service to Seattle.

Energy agreement

WESTERVILLE

Constellation, an Exelon company and supplier of power, natural gas and renewable energy, signed a one-year agreement with Printing Industries of Ohio-N.Kentucky to act as the endorsed energy supplier of electricity to the association’s 300 members in Ohio.

The Printing Industries of Ohio-N.Kentucky provides programs and services and assists members in improving profitability and supports the printing industry.

Consumers declares quarterly dividend

MINERVA

Consumers Bancorp, the holding company of Consumers National Bank, declared a quarterly dividend on outstanding shares of common stock of 12 cents per share.

The dividend is payable March 14 to stockholders of record at the close of business Feb. 24.
