‘Power of Few’ to be screened

“The Power of Few,” a film written and directed by Boardman native Leone Marucci, will get a re-release Saturday with screenings at four locations.

Screenings will be at noon and 2 p.m. at the McDonough Museum of Art, 525 Wick Ave., on the Youngstown State University Campus; at 10 p.m. at Roberto’s Ristorante, 103 W. Federal St., downtown; at 2 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Boardman; and at 4 p.m. at Los Gallos in Boardman. Admission is $5.

Valley natives Fred D’Amico and Paul Nero were producers of the action film with a science-fiction twist. D’Amico also had a small role in it.

“The Power of Few” premiered in February 2013 and has an impressive cast, led by Christopher Walken, and includes Christian Slater, Anthony Anderson, Larry King, Jesse Bradford, Q’Orianka Kilcher and Moon Bloodgood.

Attendees to any of the screenings Saturday should hold on to their ticket stubs, because it is good for discounts through Feb. 28 at several downtown businesses, including:
