Former store employee accused of taking more than $10,000
BOARDMAN
A former employee of a Boardman Dollar General store is charged with a felony theft offense after the store accused him of stealing more than $10,000.
Shane Yesovich, 36, of Boardman is charged with fourth-degree felony theft. Yesovich posted a $4,000 bond after he was booked by Boardman police on Wednesday. He is to appear in Boardman court at 5:30 p.m. today.
A representative of the store, located on Boardman-Canfield Road, told police Yesovich took several deposits totaling $10,989.55. Yesovich told police five deposits were still in his car. The deposits totaled $1,188.28. They were returned to the store.
