Kutlick leases space to Fin, Feather & Fur
Staff report
Kutlick Realty LLC announced that it leased about 30,000 square feet in Boardman’s Tiffany Square plaza to Fin, Feather & Fur Outfitters, as a part of a multimillion-dollar renovation campaign that aims to attract a variety of retailers.
Bill Kutlick, a broker for Kutlick Realty, said the agency had been courting the sporting-goods and outdoor-supply store for about a year.
Fin, Feather & Fur has been growing, and the new location is the store’s fourth expansion in three years, Fin, Feather & Fur said last week.
The store at Tiffany Square, set to open in the spring, will benefit from renovations, including a new facade and an approximately $1 million energy-efficient roof, Kutlick said.
Other updates to the plaza include new lighting, landscaping and wider sidewalks, he added.
“It’s ground zero for retail in Boardman,” Kutlick said.
The location also is appealing because of its accessibility, with shoppers able to reach the center from U.S. Route 224, South Avenue and Tiffany Boulevard, Kutlick said.
“There are very few shopping centers that have that kind of accessibility,” he said.
About 90,000 of Tiffany Square’s 178,000 square feet are yet to be leased, Kutlick said.
But Kutlick Realty has been in negotiations with “two major retailers” and is close to announcing agreements to lease 55,000 square feet of that remaining space, he said.
