CANFIELD

Jan. 31

Harassing: A report of harassing text messages reportedly was made from a home in the 500 block of Brookpark Drive.

Feb. 3

Arrest: Police arrested Roberta Massaro, 58, of Venloe Drive, Poland, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear.

Feb. 8

Arrest: Police arrested James McVay, 30, of Trinity Church Road, Lisbon, on a Canfield Mayor’s Court warrant for failure to appear on a drug-abuse-instruments charge.

AUSTINTOWN

Feb. 3

Assault: A man assaulted a woman on Heritage Drive at Johnson Farm Drive.

Breaking and entering: Copper was stolen from a cell tower in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Arrest: Police arrested Tiffany McGill, 26, of Logan Avenue Southeast, Warren, on a warrant for obstruction of official business.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 50 block of Country Green Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Aggravated menacing: Menacing was reported at a home in the 1000 block of Meridian Road.

Theft: A Nook tablet and iPhone were taken from an auto parked at Cracker Barrel restaurant, 5600 Interstate Blvd.

Burglary: $30 was taken from a home in the 100 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Feb. 4

Theft: A wallet was taken from an unattended purse at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An Android cellphone was stolen at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: An iPhone 4S cellphone was stolen at Austintown Middle School.

Theft: A purse was stolen and windows damaged on an auto at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

Feb. 5

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Joseph Polish, 36, of Evans Avenue, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Matthew Cercone, 27, of North Beacon Drive, on a charge of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Several credit cards were stolen and used at Cracker Barrel.

Burglary: Money and pills were taken from an apartment at Fox Run Commons, 1184 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at Knights Tower, 107 Westchester Drive.

Inducing panic: An unidentified male threatened to drive a vehicle through the walls of the township police station, 92 Ohltown Road. Threats were made to dispatchers and officers.

Criminal trespassing: Trespassing was reported at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Feb. 6

Weapons offense: A large pocketknife and marijuana were found on a juvenile at Austintown Fitch High School, 4650 Falcon Drive.

Breaking and entering: Copper wire was stolen after a break-in at a tower site at 5602 Dunlap Road.

Feb. 7

Breaking and entering: Drywall was damaged after a break-in at an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: Jewelry was taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A wallet was stolen at the BP service station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Fraud: A scam was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Dunbar Avenue.

Lost or stolen property: A cellphone was reported lost or stolen at Walmart.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons on Anna Williams, 45, of Bainbridge Avenue, Austintown, for possession of prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Feb. 8

Obstructing official business: Police charged Jontae Revere, 23, of Detroit Avenue, Youngstown, and Chauncey Higgs, 23, of Burlington Street, Youngstown, with obstructing official business.

Drug offense: Police arrested Abimael Vazquez, 34, of Market Street, Youngstown, on a drug-offense charge of cocaine possession.

Fraud: A Verizon account was opened using the victim’s information at a home in the 1000 block of Idaho Road.

Theft: $917.36 in unauthorized charges were made.

Feb. 9

Bench warrant: Police arrested Benjamin Moore, 25, of South Raccoon Road, on a bench warrant for traffic violations.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Kenneth Green, 34, of West Western Reserve Road, Canfield, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Forrest Brooks, 29, of Rosalyn Circle, Mineral Ridge, on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Domestic violence: Police arrested Michael Pruitt, 22, of Deer Creek Court, on charges of domestic violence and criminal damaging and endangering.

Theft: A laptop was taken from a home in the 40 block of DeHoff Drive.
