Kent theater seeks interns
WARREN
Kent Trumbull Theatre is now accepting applications for its 13th annual high school internship in technical theater.
Interns will be trained in scenery, scene painting, properties, lighting, sound and costuming. The program is 15 hours per week for eight weeks. Interns must also fill a crew position for one show.
At the end of the summer, successful interns will receive a check for $500.

Mathemagician coming to YSU
YOUNGSTOWN
Arthur Benjamin, a “mathemagician” who has appeared on national television, will give a free public lecture at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 19 in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawley Center on the campus of Youngstown State University.
Benjamin is both a math professor and a magician. In his presentation, called “Mathemagics,” he demonstrates and explains his secrets for performing mental calculations faster than a calculator.
Benjamin has been profiled in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, Scientific American and Discover Magazine.
