Man charged with robbery at Boardman Walmart

BOARDMAN — Police arrested a 26-year-old township man on multiple charges, including robbery, after Walmart security officials accused him of a theft from the store.

Karell McDaniel of Applecrest Court is in Mahoning County jail until his scheduled court appearance at 8:30 a.m. today in Mahoning County Area Court here.

In addition to robbery — a second-degree felony offense — McDaniel is charged with resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
