13-year-old Ohio girl charged with shooting 12-year-old boy

COLUMBUS (AP) — Police in Columbus say a 12-year-old boy is in serious condition after being shot in the neck — allegedly by a 13-year-old girl.

It happened Sunday night on the east side of the city. Police said five individuals were together in a room at the house when the girl pulled out a handgun and shot the boy.

The girl was arrested and charged with felonious assault. The investigation continues.
