Watts will be honored by family for 50th

STRUTHERS

Mr. and Mrs. James Watt of Struthers will be honored for their golden anniversary Feb. 22 with a dinner celebration at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.

Invitations will be issued.

The couples’ children and their spouses will host the event. They are Jeffrey (Stacey) Watt of Madison, Ohio; Gregory (Melissa) Watt of Boston; Brian Watt of Struthers; Daniel (Tricia) Watt of Seven Hills, Ohio; and Eric (Ann) Watt of Streetsboro.

The family is completed with seven grandchildren.

The former Esther Yauman married Mr. Watt on Feb. 22, 1964, at Struthers United Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Watt completed nurse’s training and worked at Woodside Hospital. She later devoted her life to raising their five sons.

Mr. Watt was the owner of Watt Insurance Agency and retired in 2007. He is a U.S. Army veteran and served from 1958 to 1962.

The couple are members of Struthers Parkside Church.
