Water purchases to buy medical items

SHARON, Pa.

H20 for Hope, a fundraiser that supports the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation’s Medical Equipment Recycling Program, is conducted throughout February.

Glasses of water purchased for $1 at Donna’s Diner, 10 W. State St., will be matched by a $1 donation from the Winner Foundation.

All proceeds benefit MERP, a program that provides refurbished medical equipment to patients within the UPMC Horizon service area who lack the insurance coverage or means to buy new medical equipment.
