Austintown Fitch 51, Lake 49

AUSTINTOWN

Jessie Driver scored 16 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, hitting four 3-pointers in the process, as Fitch outscored the Blue Streaks 18-13 in the final frame. Driver also had six rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Falcons (14-3), while Anthony Pangio added 10 points and six rebounds. Alex Belinsky scored 20 points and Mitchell Spotleson had 14 for Lake, which has won back-to-back Federal League titles. Lake attempted a game-winner with three seconds left but missed and Fitch grabbed the rebound.

Alliance 65, Howland 48

HOWLAND

J.J. Kukura powered the Aviators (16-2) with 27 points. Also scoring in double figures were Kordelle Phillips with 12 points and Dale Dixon with 10. For the Tigers (4-14), Reese Bogan and Tommy Carnifax each scored 12 points.

East Liverpool 62, Hubbard 52

HUBBARD

Reynolds scored 22 points to lead four Potters in double figures and East Liverpool jumped out to a 24-9 lead after the first quarter. Wassil scored 14 points and Jones had 11 for the Eagles, who closed within 40-36 after three quarters.

Newton Falls 74, Grand Valley 43

ORWELL

Chris Greathouse’s 21 points featured seven 3-pointers for the Tigers (10-8). Ozzie Hawkins scored 17 points and Jaden Walton 16. For Grand Valley, Jake Volmelker scored 13 points and Gabe Kouacs 12.

Bristol 62, Mathews 60

BRISTOLVILLE

Brandon Lee hit a 3-pointer late in the game to put the Panthers (14-6, 8-4 Northeastern Athletic Conference) ahead for keeps. Lee’s 17 points included his 1,000th varsity point. Johnny Simcox led the Panthers with 18 points, Bryce Gabrielson scored 10 points. For the Mustangs, Wyatt Ford led with 16 points. Also reaching double figures were Cobie Pratt with 16 and Terryance Rogan 11.

Beaver Local 94, East Palestine 46

LISBON

Jared Lyder scored 27 points and the Beavers opened a 52-26 halftime lead. The winners also got 16 points from Chase Hilliard and 13 each from Hayden Grafton and Josh Underwood. East Palestine was led by Nick Monteleone with 10 points.

West Branch 68, Salem 61

SALEM

Jerian Thomas scored 20 points and Kip DeShields had 19 for West Branch (5-13, 3-10 Northeastern Buckeye Conference), which outscored Salem 24-14 in the second quarter to take a 41-31 halftime lead. D.J. Pullie and Andrew Dolphin each scored 15 for Salem.

Ursuline 41, Brookfield 39

YOUNGSTOWN

Simone Comer scored 21 points to lead the Irish (9-9). Xavia King made nine rebounds and scored nine points. For the Warriors (14-5), Lauren Hawley scored 14 points and Delany Saxton made 10 rebounds.

Canfield 65, United 43

CANFIELD

Erin Risner scored 11 of her 29 points in the first quarter as Canfield jumped out to a 24-6 lead. Rachel Tinkey added 19 points. For United, Mackenzie Gatchel scored 16 points.

Salem 46, Niles 36

NILES

Tori Jones scored 12 points for Salem, which outscored Niles 16-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away. Julia Dundan added nine points. Ashley Cline and Tricia Marz each scored nine for Salem.

Lordstown 64, LaBrae 58

LEAVITTSBURG

Sara Cash scored 21 points and made seven rebounds to lead the Red Devils. Also scoring in double figures were Talia Tobin with 14 points and Ally Hajnosz with 13. For the Vikings, Maddie Kiser led with 18 points. Lauren Rutherford contributed 14 points and Somer McCoy 13.

South Range 72, Beaver Local 31

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Sara Durr scored 14 points and made nine rebounds to lead the Raiders (17-2). Morgan Czopur also scored 14 points. Starla Sharp made 12 points and Lynnie Ritter 10. For Beaver Local (6-13), Danna Talbott led with seven points.

McDonald 45, Heartland Christian 18

MCDONALD

Brenna Rupe scored 17 points and Sara Jospeh 10 to lead the Blue Devils (2-19). For Heartland Christian, Avery Pennington scored 13 points.

Jackson-Milton 44, Mineral Ridge 41

NORTH JACKSON

Madison Tomaino scored 11 points to help Jackson-Milton rally from a 16-8 first quarter deficit. Alyssa Harkins scored 13 points with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals for Ridge, while Peyton Allen had 13 points and four rebounds.
