Dinner fundraiser to benefit Larry Ortz

AUSTINTOWN

A pasta dinner fundraiser is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at Austintown Middle School, 700 S. Raccoon Road, to benefit an Austintown man who needs double lung transplant surgery this year.

The hospital requires that Larry Ortz have $15,000 in an account for the medication he’ll need after the surgery to assure that he can recover properly.

Donations for the dinner are $10; kids 6 and under are free.

The event will include a basket raffle.
