Counselor, author will be featured

St. Charles Borromeo Parish library committee will present Marilyn Burns, local licensed professional clinical counselor and author, at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 in the St. Matthew/Mark rooms of the ministries building, 7345 West View Drive.

Her topic will be “Faith is a Bold Choice to a Peaceful Life.”

She will discuss the concept of free will and how significant it is in how we embrace loss and change and how our spiritual beliefs pave the way to healing and recovery from any loss or trauma.

Copies of her two books will be available for purchase and autographing, and light refreshments will be served.
