Power restored at Southern Park Mall

BOARDMAN — The Southern Park Mall is back to its normal operations after Ohio Edison Co. had to briefly shut down the mall's power this morning, said Michele Meregaglia, the mall's manager.

An exposed ground line in the area prompted the electric company to turn off the power about 11:40 a.m., Meregaglia said.

He said about 75 percent of the mall's power lines were affected. Power was restored around 11:55 a.m.
