Poland girls basketball defeats Champion

The Poland girls basketball team defeated Champion Feb. 3 at Champion with a score of 47-44. Scoring for Poland were Korinna Sherman (16), Madison Walkama (2), Libby Rubesa (2), Kaylin Donnadio (6), Kathryn Wilson (7), Jillian Penman (2) and Theodora Constantine (12).

Girls team defeated by Canfield

The Poland girls basketball team was defeated by Canfield Jan. 30 at Canfield with a score of 55-24. Scoring for Poland were Korinna Sherman (2), Kaylin Donnadio (10), Kathryn Wilson (2), Jillian Penpan (4) and Theodora Constantine (6).

Make up date scheduled

The make up date for the LaBrae at Poland boys basketball game is set for Feb. 12. The junior varsity team will play at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity play will begin at 7 p.m. It will be senior night at Poland.

Girls basketball defeats Girard

The Poland girls basketball team defeated Girard with a score of 71-65 Jan. 27 at Poland. Scoring for Poland were Korinna Sherman (13), Madison Walkama (8), Libby Rubesa (4), Kathryn Wilson (9), Theodora Constantine (25), Phoebe Bush (10) and Emily Melnek (2).
