Lisbon man dies from injuries received in Jan. 22 crash


HANOVERTON — A 48-year-old Lisbon man involved in a Jan. 22 crash has died.

Joseph A. Hicks died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday as a result of injuries he received in the accident on U.S. Route 30 in Hanover Township, the Ohio State Highway Patrol stated in a fax sent today.

Hicks, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was driving his Chrysler 300 west when he crossed the center line and hit an eastbound 2013 Freightliner commercial tractor-trailer driven by a 34-year-old El Paso, Texas, man at 6:57 p.m. Jan. 22, according to the patrol.
