PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Three people have been sentenced to prison in the robbery-slaying of a pizza delivery driver who authorities said was lured to a vacant lot in southwest Philadelphia and killed.
Twenty-year-old Xylaca Devlin was sentenced to five to 12 years Thursday and 25-year-old Rashad Cheeseboro was sentenced to seven to 15 years.
Both pleaded guilty to third-degree murder, robbery and conspiracy in the January 2012 death of 29-year-old Ronald Anderson Jr.
Twenty-year-old Keyona Jones of Magnolia, N.J. was sentenced to two to four years on robbery and conspiracy pleas.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that all three apologized to relatives of the victim, Devlin and Jones in tears.
