Mahoning County grand jury indicts Coitsville man on drug charges

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County grand jury today indicted a Coitsville man on drug offenses.

Aaron Knupp, 38, of John White Road, was indicted on charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs and possession of drugs with a major drug offender specification.

Knupp lived at the home which was raided by police and sheriff’s deputies last week and where a large amount of suspected methamphetamine was found.

The indictment says that Knupp received the major drug offender specification because the amount of suspected methamphetamine found in the home when it was raided Jan. 31 was 100 times over the amount deemed illegal.
