Alliance will go red for heart health

In honor of American Heart Month, Alliance Community Hospital and the American Heart Association are sponsoring Alliance Goes Red: An Evening for Women, a free event that will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Alliance High School, 400 Glamorgan St.

Register by calling 330-596-7575 no later than Feb. 18.

Community members also can help raise awareness on Friday by participating in National Wear Red for Women Day in recognition of family, friends and neighbors who have suffered from heart disease. Light refreshments and giveaways will be provided.
