“Arrow” (8 p.m., The CW): On “Arrow,” Katrina Law (“Spartacus”) guest stars as Nyssa, a member of the ominous-sounding League of Assassins. Apparently, it’s the kind of club that doesn’t do a whole lot of charity work.

American Idol” (8 p.m., Fox): “American Idol” adds a new twist this week with the “Hollywood or Home” round. Before they have a chance to wallow in their golden-ticket glory, some of the wannabes will be called in front of the judges to perform solo numbers that will determine whether they advance.

“Super Fun Night” (9:30 P.M., ABC): Bob Saget guests as a big-shot lawyer.

“Top Chef” (10 p.m., Bravo): Your season finale is served.

Vocal competition to have auditions

GREENVILLE, Pa.

Soloists, duets, trios and quartets are invited to compete in the annual Rising Stars Vocal Talent Competition, sponsored by Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

This vocal competition follows a format similar to “American Idol.” Contestants compete through two rounds of elimination. Celebrity judges decide the first round of semifinalists and an audience vote helps to decide the final round of winners, who take home cash, studio recording time, and the chance to sing on stage at Kennywood Park and with the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

Categories are age 10 to 17, and 18 and older. Open auditions are 7 p.m. Feb. 14 and 10 a.m. Feb. 15. Cost is $15 to pre-register by Feb. 7 or $20 for walk-ins at auditions.

First-round eliminations are at 7 p.m. March 15, and finals are at 7 p.m. April 12. All events take place in Passavant Center at Thiel College, 75 College Ave. For registration form, rules and details, go to thegreenvillesymphony.org or call 724-588-6164.
