PENNDOT lowers highway speed limits to 45

Harrisburg — Due to extreme winter road conditions, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is temporarily reducing the speed limit on interstates and expressways across Pennsylvania, effective immediately.

PennDOT is urging motorists to avoid unnecessary travel but those who must head out will see speeds reduced to 45 mph on the several highways including Interstate 80 and Interstate 376.
