NAMI will offer training for families

YOUNGSTOWN

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Mahoning Valley will present a family-to-family education program for 12 weeks beginning Monday.

Classes will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Mondays through April 28 at ValleyCare Hospital Northside Medical Center in medical office building B, Classroom B, 500 Gypsy Lane. Parking is available.

Family and caretakers dealing with mental illness in their loved ones are invited to learn the basics of mental illness and strategies for negotiating crises and everyday problems.

The course is free but registration is required.
