Youngstown man found not guilty of attempted murder

YOUNGSTOWN — A jury in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today found Cametrius Adams of Liberty not guilty of attempted murder in the shooting of a woman and her brother in 2009.

Jurors deadlocked before Judge Maureen A. Sweeney on two counts of felonious assault.

Jurors received the case Thursday and deliberated most of that day and part of Friday before returning today and rendering their verdicts late in the morning.
