Allegiant reschedules delayed flights

VIENNA

Problems associated with Allegiant flights between Florida and the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport continued Sunday night and today.

Flight 893, originally scheduled to depart Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport for Tampa/St Petersburg, Fla., Sunday was rescheduled as Flight 1893, leaving the local airport at 1:30 p.m. today and arriving in Tampa/St. Petersburg at 4:01 p.m.

Allegiant also posted information on its web site indicating that two other flights were being delayed.

One of them was between Sanford, Fla., and Hagerstown, MD being moved from today to Tuesday. A flight between Hagerstown and Sanford also was moved back one day, from today to Tueday.

Weather and operational problems were identified as the reason for a flight from Punta Gorda, Fla., being delayed Thursday and again Friday, stranding some local passengers in Florida for days.
