MYCAP is seeking volunteers for taxes

The Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership in Youngstown is looking for volunteers to help with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

The VITA Program offers free tax help to eligible individuals and families in Mahoning County who make $52,000 or less and need assistance in preparing basic tax returns.

Volunteers will work with MYCAP to receive the proper IRS training and are requested to donate a couple hours per week or month to help file tax returns. The tax training is offered online.
