The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce awarded Dave and Cindy Coie, owners of Ace Hardware on Crestview Road, with the chamber’s Presidents Award for their dedication and support to their community.

The award was presented at the Chamber’s Winter Business Showcase at Columbiana Buick Cadillac Chevrolet on Jan. 23.

ROOFING

Simon Roofing, a family- owned business that makes and installs commercial roofing and flooring products, hired area residents Kelsey DeMart and Tiffany Lyden as sales assistants for national accounts.

DeMart, a graduate of the University of South Florida, and Lyden, a Youngstown State University graduate, will identify national prospects and assist the vice president of national accounts in maintaining customer relationships across the country.

REAL ESTATE

Krysta Sylvester- Peterson, a marketing and real-estate representative for Joseph Sylvester Construction Co. in Youngstown, has become a licensed real-estate sales associate in Florida.

Now a sales associate with Florida-based South Bay Realty, the Boardman native will spend her time working in both Youngstown and Naples, Fla.
