Woman says sitter stabbed her with kitchen knife
YOUNGSTOWN
Police say a 22-year-old woman was stabbed in the face and chest about 2:50 p.m. Thursday by a woman who was watching the victim's child.
Reports said the victim had argued with the baby sitter the day before because she thought the sitter had taken $50 from her to support the sitter’s drug habit.
When the victim went to pick up her child Thursday at a home in the 1300 block of Dogwood Lane, the two argued over the $50, and the victim was stabbed with a kitchen knife, reports said.
Reports did not say if the 22-year-old was treated at the scene or taken to a hospital, but officers could see cuts on her face and chest.
No arrest had been made as of late Friday. The detective division is investigating.
