Free tax help for seniors, low- to moderate-income Valley residents

United Way of Mahoning Valley and PNC Bank are teaming up with community partners to offer free income tax assistance to qualified local residents.

The program kicks off today with the first “Super Saturday” IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for Seniors (TCE) programs that provide tax preparation assistance for low- to moderate-income individuals and families, as well as seniors, at local sites throughout the county. Appointments are required.

Community partners offering assistance on Super Saturday are Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business Administration, 1st floor computer lab, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., (call 330-941-2507); and Sebring Public Library, 195 W.
