Cleveland State snaps YSU win streak

CLEVELAND

The Youngstown State women's basketball suffered their first Horizon League defeat of the season falling 84-80 to Cleveland State at the Wolstein Center.

YSU (10-10 and 6-1) led by as many as 11 points early in the second half and was up 79-76 with just over two minutes left, but could not hang on. Cleveland State (10-11 and 5-3) closed out the game on an 8-1 run, including scoring the final six points, to pull out the win.
