Teen suspect in November homicide surrenders to police

YOUNGSTOWN — A teen wanted for a Nov. 17 homicide surrendered to police Tuesday.

Marquan White, 17, surrendered on an unrelated robbery warrant. He is also wanted for the shooting death of 20-year-old Antwon Lee Martinez of Youngstown.

Martinez was found shot to death early Nov. 17 on a sidewalk in the 2500 block of Guadalupe Avenue on the North Side.

Within a few days White was a suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest but he was able to elude police until Tuesday. He is in the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center.
