FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

FRIDAY

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. Meals include a choice of baked or fried fish; french fries, macaroni and cheese, pirogi or haluski; and coleslaw, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $11.

SATURDAY

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will host a roast beef dinner with a salad and dessert bar from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The prices are $10 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12 and free for kids under 5. A bake sale will take place during the dinner.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 4 to 6 p.m. Meals include mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw, applesauce, bread, beverage and homemade dessert. Takeouts will be available. Prices are $9 for adults, $5 for children 5 to 12 and free for kids under 4. The church is handicap accessible.

SUNDAY

St. James the Apostle Church, 4019 U.S. Route 422, Pulaski, Pa., will host a breakfast-brunch from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children. The meal features french toast, sweet cheese filling, buttermilk and buckwheat pancakes with maple or apple syrup, scrambled eggs, eggs scrambled with peppers, onions and cheese, home fries, bacon, sausage, ham, toast, cinnamon rolls, hot and cold cereals coffee, tea, juices and milk.

VFW Triangle Post 2799 Ladies Auxiliary, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon. The home-style breakfast menu consists of eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee or tea. The prices are $6 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12.

VFW Triangle Post 2799, 3161 E. South Range Road, New Springfield, will host a spaghetti dinner Jan. 8. The meal includes meatballs, salad, Italian bread and coffee or tea. Prices are $7 for adults, $3.50 for children under 12 and $7.25 for carryout.
