BOARDMAN

Someone who purchased a Classic Lotto ticket Saturday at a township convenience store has won $11.1 million, the Ohio Lottery Commission says.

The person who purchased the winning ticket at the Shell Food Mart, 998 E. Western Reserve Road, has yet to come forward to collect the prize, Marie Kilbane, a spokeswoman for the commission, said Tuesday.

The winning numbers are: 6-30-35-36-39-43. The numbers were chosen by the winner rather than automatically, Kilbane said.

The winner is Classic Lotto’s 12th since it started in 2007, Kilbane said. The last jackpot winner won $73.3 million this past June, making this the second jackpot win of the year.

The winner has the option of receiving 30 annual payments that add up to the full $11.1 million, or they can collect a one-time payment for half that amount.

“This is a substantial prize, so we encourage the person who won to take their time and think about what they want to do with the money, get some financial assistance so they can decide what they want to do with their money and how they want to receive it,” Kilbane said.

The winner can claim the prize at any of the OLC’s offices, including the Youngstown office at 242 Federal Plaza West.

The store that sold the ticket will get a $1,000 bonus from the lottery commission for selling the ticket.
